What We Trade

HMS Scrap

HMS stands for "Heavy Melting Scrap," which refers to a category of ferrous (iron-based) scrap metal. HMS scrap typically consists of recyclable steel materials, including obsolete machinery, industrial equipment, and demolished structures.

It may contain a mix of different steel grades, such as HMS 1 and HMS 2, with varying levels of contamination and sizes. HMS scrap is widely used in the Steel Industry as a raw material for producing new steel products through processes such as smelting and refining.

Copper Scrap

Copper scrap refers to discarded or surplus copper materials that can be recycled and reused. Copper is a highly valuable non-ferrous metal known for its excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and malleability.

Copper scrap can include various forms, such as copper wire, pipes, tubing, sheets, and electrical components. Recycling copper scrap helps conserve natural resources and reduce the energy consumption and environmental impact associated with mining and refining new copper. It is widely utilized in the manufacturing of electrical wiring, plumbing systems, electronics, and numerous other applications.

Aluminum

Aluminum is a lightweight and highly versatile non-ferrous metal widely used across various industries. It possesses excellent corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, and a good strength-to-weight ratio. Aluminum scrap consists of discarded aluminum-based materials, such as cans, window frames, automotive parts, and packaging materials.

Recycling aluminum scrap is energy-efficient and environmentally beneficial, as it requires significantly less energy compared to primary aluminum production. The recycled aluminum can be melted and used for manufacturing new products such as automotive parts, aircraft components, construction materials, and consumer goods.

Zinc

Zinc is a bluish-white, lustrous metal with good corrosion resistance. It is commonly used as a protective coating for other metals, such as steel, to prevent rusting (known as galvanization). Zinc scrap consists of discarded zinc-based materials, including galvanized steel scraps, zinc sheets, die-cast components, and zinc alloys.

Recycling zinc scrap helps conserve resources and reduce the need for primary zinc production. The recycled zinc can be processed and used in various industries, including construction, automotive, electrical, and the manufacturing of batteries, alloys, and coatings.
